    Use CrapCleaner:

Tools > Uninstall > select unwanted entry > click on 'Delete entry'.

I've tried to follow this thread in the forum you are posting to but some posts
are obviously missing so it's difficult to decipher what your exact problem is.
From one of your earlier posts I thought you had got rid of a program but
the entry in the Add and Remove Programs was still there and you wanted
    to remove it from there.

Are you saying this program (Fun Pack 2004) is still installed and won't uninstall?

  4. thataboy85

    thataboy85 Guest

Yes Dave-UK I can't get rid of this program it won't uninstall, I think
because I'm running vista and the program is xp that's what got me into
    this trouble!
Some other people had the same problem for some reason the program
    made
you to believe it would run on vista but that's not the case! Sorry if
I missed something I'm in a hurry! Wanted to get this to you! You would
    get I believe
a error 1713 cant install one of the required programs contact your
    technical
    administrator.

Revo Uninstaller might help, it's freeware:

    thataboy85 Guest

Dave-UK thanks very much for your help! I'm glad you told me about the
    Revo
uninstaller that will come in handy in the future. Now when I go to the
add and remove and click on the winter pack program, the word uninstall
won't even come up any more because I think I have uninstalled all the
programs components in-turn when the uninstaller tries to locate the
program it cant because it's nothing there but the words this is my
guess I'm new at this, because even when I tried the hunter locate on the
    uninstaller it tells me
to locate the program components and uninstall manually! Now I think if
I would have had a program like Revo before I went and uninstalled the
installer of this program It wouldn't had been such a problem getting
    rid of it!
Now it seems like I'm stuck with just the wording of the program now!
maybe I'm wrong what do you think! Thanks Again!

    I am lost!
I don't understand your exact problem.
Is this Fun Pack thing giving you an error message at boot-up or something?
What do you mean you are stuck with the wording? What wording where?
CrapCleaner will remove the entry in AddRemove Programs as I said before.

  8. thataboy85

    thataboy85 Guest

What I mean by wording is just the name of the program won't come off!
In add and remove programs the name of the program winter fun pack 2004
xp for windows wont remove! I used the uninstaller revo and it said that
it couldn't locate the installer components, delete it manually! which I
have already tried! When I said wording I just meant the actual name of
    the program thats written down.

If it's any consolation, I haven't managed to figure out what thataboy85's
    problem is either.

OK, if you want to remove an entry in the AddRemove box
then you will have to go into the registry.

The list of installed programs is here:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

If you are not used to using Regedit then take it slow and easy.
In the Start menu somewhere there should be a 'Run' command, it may be under Accessories.
Find it and type in ' regedit.exe '.
    Navigate to the key above.
Right-click the ' Uninstall ' key in the left pane and select 'Export'.
Give it a suitable name and save to your desktop.
(This is done to back up the key for safety.)
Open the Uninstall folder in the left pane and all the installed
    program entries will drop down.

Now have a look down the list and see if you can see Fun Pack or whatever.
It may be listed under a random-looking 32 character name.

When you are sure you have found the entry in the right pane delete that key on the left.

If all goes well you wont need the backup file you saved.
    Good luck.

I'm hoping it's just the redundant entry in the Add Remove box - time will tell!

D/l and install the program , and then uninstall correctly , not just
deleting ( until it says so ) .
