Windows 7 bug report

    I have a Windows 7 bug report.

    I can't find a Win7 MS newsgroup except in Italian, and so I'm going to
    post it here - just pass the info along please. It's valid info.

    .....> Folder Options> View> Restore Previous Folder Windows At Logon

    If you have that option checkmarked on any version of Win7 I've tested so
    far, and if you had a Folder open on your previous shutdown, when you
    startup again Explorer will hang unresponsive for many minutes while it
    tries to accommodate that checkmarked folder task.

    Uncheck it, and it's fine.
