i need a solution to this... please
i have both Vista and XP in my system with Vista in C drive and XP in D
    drive..
i want to work in full screen mode of XP.. but in vista i cant do it...
So each time i have to reboot my sytem and get into XP to do so..
so if i can load already installed XP on my vista, it would be
    helpful...
    can anyone help me out..
remember that i have installed XP and Vista already and i am not using
    any Virtual PC kind..

    Hi Ilamparithi,

I'm not sure I understand what you need to do. Are you saying that you want
to start up Windows Vista but then run Windows XP at the same time (in full
    screen mode)?

If this is the case then you are going to have to use something like Virtual
PC where the Windows XP operating system is running virtually on top of
Windows Vista - you can then put this in full screen mode.

Can you eloborate a little more.

    Thanks,
    Jon

  3. I am not certain as to what you are trying to do. Please describe thoroughly
and completely. You want to run XP on Vista without any Virtual PC???

What do you mean with full screen mode in Vista???

You can't run 2 operating systems on your computer at the same time, just
the way it is. Depending on what you want to accomplish you may be able to
use a virtual machine to run your XP OS within Vista, but it has
    limitations.

Are you by chance saying that when you start XP you see a full screen image
to the edges of the monitor but when you start Vista you only get an image
that is shrunk on the screen with black edges? If this is the case, you
don't have the same resolution and/or refresh rate set in the video drivers
between XP and/or Vista. Once those are set the same you should have not
    issues.

Sounds like you want to boot 2 OSes at the same time and without
something like Virtual PC, that's impossible.
