Vista Home Premium - Quick Launch Toolbar

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by Wolverine in Michigan, Oct 11, 2009.

  1. On my quick launch toolbar, I accedently moved it to the side of my
screen and somehow the icons for my programs on the toolbar moved to the
middle of the toolbar and the icons showing "open programs" moved to the
left of the toolbar. It used to be reversed - programs icons on the
left and open programs in the middle. How do I get that back the way it
    was?

    Thanks

  2. The toolbar is locked smart ass. Give yourself a lobotomy

    Hi,

Right click on the taskbar, make sure "lock the taskbar" is not checked. If
it is, click on it to unlock it. If you have not done so already, left click
and hold in a central area of the taskbar and drag it back to the bottom.

To the left of the applications launcher (quicklaunch buttons), you should
see a set of three dotted lines. Grab this with the cursor and drag it back
to a point just right of the start orb. Release, then you can relock the
    taskbar.

    Hi,
Make sure the Taskbar is unlocked then grab the vertical "handle" on either
side of the Quicklaunch bar and drag it back to the left side of the
    Taskbar.
