Vista Home Premium Need to Adust 2 monitors

    hello , i have my Notebook with windows Vista Home premium sp1 and i
    have small monitor and i want my no1 monitor is my notebook monitor and
    the 2 is the other but i find its oposite my notebook is not the 1 its
    the 2 and dont show my desktop its just show empty one

    when i go to adjust it from Display setting wont work i try to right
    click on the desired monitor i want to make it the default one so the
    menu have to options i can click to sign it but its disabled not enabled


    i need to know how can i make my Notebook monitor is the 1 and the
    external monitor is the 2 because i lost to do it and cant do anything

    This post has the exact opposite problem. It was resolved in the bios.

    The numbers on the display doesn't affect anything, they're just there to
    make it easier to tell which monitor is which.

    If to want to switch which monitor is the main/primary monitor go into
    Display Settings and set Screen 1 or 2 as the Primary/Main.

    There is a way to change which display is 1 and 2, but the method varies
    depending on the video card and how they detect the 2nd display.

    I say again the number on the screen doesn't affect which monitor is
    Primary/Main (has taskbar and start button). The numbers are there just to
    identify which monitor is which.
