Yes, I know this is not a major problem, not even a problem worth
fussing over, but its just an annoyance I would like to get rid of.
Everytime I boot up windows vista to the login screen, it displays there
error "incorrect password" or something along the lines of that. I just
want to know if there is a way to get rid of this? I am the admin, I
even tried setting up another account to see if the results were the
same, and I still get the error. Any quick fixes to this?

How do you get into windows if its constantly showing incorrect password ?
Maybe run net user to see a list of accounts ... maybe something you
    haven't thought of shows up.
    net help user for help

Possibly : If you're not already, maybe run NetPLWiz

Its not that vista is saying the password im typing in is incorrect,
just when I boot up to the login screen it automatically suppllies me
with an error message saying that the username and/or password is
incorrect BEFORE I type anything in.

Sounds like the system is set to automatically log onto a specific
username, and the password specified is wrong (or was changed). You
can fix this by disabling the automatic logon.

To do this, click Start and type ‘netplwiz’ then press enter. In the
window that comes up, check the “Users must enter a username and
password to use this computer” box. Click OK, and that should do it.
(Of course, if you have UAC enabled you'll get prompted along the way,
just click continue / supply the admin account info or whatever and
    you'll be fine.)
