Yes, mine is very similar to the ones in your link. It may even be listed in one of the pages.
    Here's a link to the one I have https://www.amazon.com/KWS-MX16-Current-Voltage-Capacity-Voltmeter/dp/B07Z4673RZ

If you're going to get one, I suggest getting one with a cable connection to the computer. The one I have has no cable, When I plug it into a laptop, the display faces down and you can't read it. I have to either lift the laptop or connect the device using a USB extender cable.

I would like a device that reports the port's speed. Years ago when USB 2 came out, there was no way to distinguish a USB 1 from a USB 2 port because they looked the same. USB ports are blue, but can you be sure they are USB 3?

I have a USB flash drive that lights up RED when plugged into a USB 1 port. It lights up BLUE when plugged into a USB 2 port. Note: It was designed before USB 3. It can't distinguish between USB 2 and 3. It lights up Blue when plugged into either USB 2 or USB 3.

    Thanks, Tony.
I have several 6" USB extension cables. I'd simply put it on one of those.
I have my everyday workhouse USB stick permanently connected to a short cable. It makes insertion and removal easier and saves wear and tear on the connector.

USB 3 isn't a problem because are computers are so old that none of them have a USB 3 port. My externl hard drives do but not the computers they are plugged into.

I just had another one of these on a Desktop computer. It was designed for W7, and I installed an SSD and performed a clean installation of W10.

If you run into this problem, then enable hidden files, navigate to C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe, then copy and paste it to the Desktop.

...and no, I couldn't find any explanation as to why the problem occurs in the first place :)

On second thought, if the cause was known, then there would be a solution and not a work around :)
