The boneheads who sold this laptop put 32 bit Vista Home Premium OEM on
a 64 bit system. Can I upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit? I want
    to pre-order.

Those "boneheads" always default to a 32 bit system. If you wanted a 64 bit
system, why didn't you order one with a 64 bit OS on it? I don't think they
    are the BONEHADS here.

You can't "upgrade" from 32 bit to 64 bit, you have to do a clean
install. So order what you like.
