After months of proper operation all of a sudden Chrome extensions will not launch, Also I run a game (for months) now it fails on Java script errors ! Works on my Lap top OK. I have run a disk check, it came back clean. I ran a memory scan, it also came back clean. Tried deinstalling/reinstalling Chrome no change. When I run under Edge I get the same Java script error. Any one have a suggestion ? Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron.

Thanks, will give it a try, but logically it should make no difference (if the error is in the script).

Did the update, seems I had an old version installed, however I get the same script error message.

It sounds like Chrome is running in Incognito mode. ...but in order to do that, you have to manually open it in Incognito mode.

Did you check to see that the extensions are indeed enabled in your settings?

Interesting. If I were in Incognito mode, how would I get out of it ? When I select settings all I get is a blank screen.

That's not right. You should get something like this.

Not what I get. Similar, but in the area where it talks about opening a new page, it specifically asks if you what a new Incognito page. There's a line further down called settings which is where I get the blank return.

Something is wrong with your Chrome installation. Uninstall it. Restart your computer. Then go here to reinstall Chrome. I know you did it before. Just humor me please.
