Unable to Boot from Hard Disk

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by ross m. greenberg, Jun 13, 2009.

  1. The only way I am able to boot his with a political CD/DVD in the drive,
wait for the "press any key to boot from CD or DVD" prompt comes up, do not
hit any key whatsoever and then the normal user prompt/enter password screen
comes up. Additionally if I try to "Safe Mode Boot" I Blue Screen.

Any idea of what to do?

    Thanks.

    Ross

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware -

If you only need a Vista disk to do a repair:

Windows Vista Recovery Disc Download (cannot install Windows from this)
