My mission here (Texas) is to teach proper English and persuade the natives that the events in 1776 were just a misunderstanding. All you need to do is pay your taxes back to 1776 and Texas will be readmitted into the British Empire.

Y'all don't know what proper English is. American English is the accepted standard now and we have the missiles to prove it. :snckr:

Welcome to Computer Help Forums where you should feel quite at home. I haven't counted lately but it seems there are more Brits on staff here than real people.

lol that would be an interesting figure to work out owing to the Texas Oil Industry

The clue's in the name English from England, you see the similarities their, Americans speak American based on the English Language, and that's just a carry on from the events of 1776 when you all decided to do things your own way :snckr:

Australian is easy its English with your teeth kept shut to keep the fly's out and shortened as much as possible so as to give you more time to have a barbie on the beach :snckr:

P.S. you can all come back now, we think you have all done your time and paid your debt to Society :lglaf:

hmmm maybe Australia is the model for the current UK government, we sent a bunch of lying, thieving criminals to some useless chunk of land in the middle of the sea and look how well they have done ROFL

Hi Limey and welcome. I do feel sorry for you though, of all places to go live, why Texas?
I have a friend who went working over there, he now sounds like a ruddy Texan since he got back. :snckr:
