start up

I am running vista 32bit. Dell studio 15. Will not start? i get the Dell
start screen with option of F2 F12 then goes to microsoft with the activity
bar going dack and forth but will not start it just stays on this screen?

 

Call Dell tech support and have them talk you through diagnostics.

 

at £1 gbp per minuite? this ia the reason i asked this forum?

Hi,

After the Dell screen ends and before Windows begins loading, hit F8
repeatedly to access the boot menu. See if you are able to load one of the
Safe modes. If so, then the problem lies in your startup group. If not, then
you may need to run a startup repair (I understand Dell provides for this in
their own way, you'd need to check your system documentation).
