Slow start up

    Dear Vista users,

    When I`m starting up my pc the name of the manufacturer is on screen for 5
    minutes.

    How can I resolve this?

    Something is hanging up in your BIOS. For starters I would change the
    boot sequence and set the OS disk as first (it is most likely the CD
    drive that is first right now).
    If you are not familiar with the BIOS, here is a good introductory
    tutorial:
