  3. Not supported by Microsoft.

    subscribers.

This is the 3rd thread on the same subject. I'll ask Shawn to merge it
    with the original one.

It's not possible, except a rather involved backwards method of
installing the system, then SP2 then taking an image of the whole thing.

However, easier methods are being worked on by various people. As of
this post vLite is NOT working for SP2 Slipstreaming.

You will find Flavious makes a good point try this below:

    >>'Slipstream Windows Vista Service Pack 1 - HelpWithWindows.com'

This method work for SP2 either and will work for future SP X,hotfixes
    and other things to integrate...

instead point 5 from above link:
To clear SP1 backup you have to use *Compcln.exe
*Run *cmd.exe* with administrative previlliges and type *Compcln.exe

    *compcln.exe for SP2 is equivalent vsp1cln.exe for SP1

-What you need to do is do as requested to update SP1 then run the
    cleanup file...-
-Then when you have done that install SP2 then run the Compcln.exe file
then carry on where you have left off...Tada!-

Flavius never confirmed whether or not he succeeded. It's highly
unlikely it worked if even the author of vLite can't do it and none of
    his forum members either.

It worked to the point of windows can't find instal.wim even though
instal.wim is on the disc in sources...

Probably not the right one or version etc. Too bad. I posted a link
somewhere on these forums to an IT guy that's looking for
volunteers/beta testers for an SP2 Slipstream software he's designing.
If you want I'll look it up.
