Security Block

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by Joseph Childs, Jun 12, 2009.

  1. Recently, I attempted to go to YouTube through Internet Explorer on my
laptop with Vista as the operating system. Immediately after the site
opened, a message appeared warning me that the site was a security risk and
Internet explorer shut down. This is a problem with Vista, because I don't
have any trouble visiting the site on my home computer with Windows XP.
There appears to be a way to circumvent this in Vista, but I haven't been
able to make it work. Can anyone give me the steps to remove this security
block so that I can access the YouTube site on the Internet.

FWIW, that doesn't happen on either of my Vista systems. Try another
web browser such as Firefox. Run some malware checkers etc on your
system too; you could have a redirector on board.
