You just answered it. The reason you have 5 folders in the image file is because your "c" drive only has 5 folders on it. I thought you said you were making the image file to be only 5 of the folders on "c " drive and that wasn't making any sense to me. It does now.

That's what I thought, Rich in my reply #16.
Most likely not enough free space.

Please look at device manager. I will create a image and mount it if you want me to, but it will take time to do that. Partition 4 looks exactly like my flash drive with back to factory.

The hidden partitions show 100% because they are hidden and there's a reason for that. I will mount the 4th partition if that's what you want me to do! It will show the same thing my flash shows. I have been there and done that!;)

Here's screen shot of partition #4 the same files that are on flash. That's all I can do. I know my Toshiba!

Good night! Thanks Tony! Partition #4 is back to factory. Same files that are on my flash!
Sorry Tony! I didn't throttle down.

No need to go to that trouble,Gary. Saw the partition red and wondered why.
    I believe you.
Just never had a red partition on my clones and made me sit up and think how could that happen.:)

Just dawned on me what could be the problem.
You have no drive letters assigned to the partitions which you should have, and Macrium may be throwing a wobbly.

There is no option to assign Drive letters to those drives! I could extend the C drive by deleting those drives, but I don't need the space.
Macrium recognizes them just fine. 3&4 do not show up in Windows Explorer either because they do not have a drive letter assigned. That's the way Toshiba keeps newbies from messing with them ;):D:eek:

Hi ! Here's a screen shot of my Operating Drive(C Drive) on the left and a macrium reflect image (G Drive)on the right!
I can copy and paste or drag and drop from the image. There are 5 folders on each drive. I may not always have the right terminology or the right computer language, but I know Windows and I know my Toshiba.

I have been doing that for years, Garry. Any cloned copy, the data is accessable.
Not only Macrium, any cloning software, the data can be transferred, Copy and pasted. Call it what you like. This is not a new revelation.
I think this Macrium thread has been flogged to death.:)

Hey Kenny! Thanks I agree. I have nothing more to add to this thread.;) I hope it helps a member or guest understand creating and using a back up image!
