    Hello,

I would like to know what tools are available for
ripping DVDs under Windows. The reason I need
to do this is that I have a UK laptop running windows
vista home premium but the computer attached to
the Full HD television is a PlayStation3 which I had
purchased in the US and hence recognizes only
NTSC and not PAL video DVDs (although data
DVDs work well on both and are compatible
format-wise). So I want to extract the file from
the DVD and then play it as a file on my PS3
which outputs to the large television screen.

Thank you for your help and advice,

    Regards,

    John Goche
