I created batchfiles to change default OS and reboot. I set the
bootloader delay to 0, but the menu still flashes for my eyes for about
a sec. I would like to switch OS using the batch files (yes, they use
bcdedit.exe) and I would not like to see the OS selection menu. Is there
a way to tweak the bootmgr to not show the menu?:sarc:

It is not checked and I can still see the menu flashing for about half a
    second on boot.[IMG]

That may be from the batch file. I wouldn't worry about it though since
it is only a split second.

No, it does not display if there is only one OS...

But if there are more than 1, it does... regardless of (un)checked
    option

In an elevated cmd prompt, type:

    bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no

Then press enter ( that's for anyone else reading this thread)

    Hope it helps

More details needed. How many OS's are involved, and exactly what are
    they?

If, like most people, you blink...you won't see it.

I just tried bcdedit /set {bootmgr} timeout 0 and I see no bootscreen
    displayed at all.

strange... you have 2 OS's? Perhaps becouse I used vista boot pro to
repair the bootloader after I destroyed it with xp... (I cant install xp
first becouse of limitations of my vista 'recovery' disk...'
