    Yes, good article. I had been in the habit of hibernating my old XP computer. But now, with a new Windows 10 desktop and an ssd boot drive, I'm avoiding that. I'll have to get into the habit of letting it sleep rather than shutting down. I see the fan stops while sleeping and I assume the hdd does to. So other than supplying power to the ram, everything else is off during sleep mode? No other wear and tear on the computer other than the power and monitor lights blinking on and off?
