I am trying to recover my files to a new computer. With a SATA to USB connected to my old HD. I was able to get whatever I wanted from the C drive, but I don't see where My Documents, Pictures, Music and Videos are. Is there a program that would go further into the old HD to retrieve these items? Thank You!

For an external drive that runs W8 or W10, click on "Users", then your account. You may then be asked to take ownership of the drive, and then the folders you're looking for should be visible.

For W7 or earlier, click on "Documents and Settings", then your account.

EDIT- Oh wait, W7 and Vista, it might be "Users" as well.
