I know it's possible to view recently viewed files but is it possible to check what folders have been opened recently?

    Hi SallyLu. Welcome to CHF.

Nice to have another Aussie aboard.

Can you be a bit more specific.

    Is this a Privacy issue?

You want to check if someone else is opening your Folders?

Wow, cheers for the prompt reply ;]
Yeah thats exactly the problem, I've tried "Recent Places" and it's in there but I'm not sure how recent it is or when it was accessed

    Welcome to CHF!

When you locate a file right click on its icon WITHOUT opening the file. Choose "Properties from the drop down menu and it will show you when it was last accessed. If you open the file then you will be the last access.

Are you using Windows 2008 server OS?

Further to what BeeCeeBee has said, if you want to keep prying eyes out of your Folders,

then we can show you how to set "File and Folder Ownership and Permissions".

Once we know exactly what OS you have.
