Got my copy of Win7 for only $64.99 CAD so if you were smart like me
you would have got in on the same deal when it was offered.

Yup - same here - I got the half price deal for the main computer when it
    was offered.

The Bestbuy / Staples / Futureshop ads were out with the newspaper this
morning and they are selling a 3 pack of Windows 7 for under $200 Cdn.
which means it can be had for 65 bucks a copy - almost commmodity pricing -
and considering how much a person might use the software, an incredible
    bargain.

On Amazon, the Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack is $149 + change. It gives

I decided that "Bureau en gros" means "store", or maybe "Wholesale office
goods". We can be sure that these are correct - or wrong.

I didn't look it up. If there's some controversy, I will.

I can remember when it was worth more. Back early seventies I could get 1.25
US for single Cdn dollar. But the prideful get humbled, the dollar plummeted
to sixty-something U.S. It's worked its way back up to near parity but ..
