    Well ... I take it back. After 3-4 days (no updates, no system changes)
    the darn funky sidebar gadget issue came back. There was definitely an
    improvement in swapping my monitors and making the sidebar appear on the
    "Primary", however, this has not completely solved it. Sorry for the
    wild goose chase.
