    Try turning mouse trails off if they are on. A friend and I both had
    that same problem and that fixed it.

    Ditto, brand new computer, I had called the Asus Tech today and they
    didn't know what to do so they told me to reinstall the entire system, I
    can't get through to microsoft,, you would think this fix would be in a
    windows update or something, it's been around for a while I guess. Thank
    you for your info, saved me a trip to the Geeks Squad.:geek:

    Uncheck pointer trails in mouse options , control panel .
