Re: HP Scanjet 5P

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by charlesharris, Sep 1, 2009.

  1. Thank you - this discussion made it easy for me to install my own SCSI
HP scanner 5p - great success. Except, does anyone have a problem that
the scanner has to be switched on at boot up for the computer to
recognise it later? Is there any way to solve this (aside from obviously
always switching it on when booting or rebooting?)

Thank you for reviving a thread that died over 2 years ago. I would assume
by now HP has updated it's drivers for the scanner which eliminated this
    problem.
