    A programme called Easeus Partition Master (free for home use!)
    reformatted an external USB Fat32 (38+Gb)drive for me in 2 minutes
    yesterday after 10 hours of command tries and other battles with the
    obstructive Windows system tools. How I wake this morning to find MS
    Bling installed as my default laptop search engine is a mystery - had
    to downgrade to IE7 t'other day to get rid of a myriad MS
    self-promotions.
