    thanks bob. u made some of the quickest sense i've ever needed for a
    technical issue! =)

    ps - the check box for including all subfolders is where u take
    ownership of the file/folder under the 'Permissions' tab at the bottom.
    it reads 'Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent'.

    n to reply to the vista vs xp..microsoft was smart in doing things like
    this cuz it makes it that much more difficult to get around security
    risks. if u kno what ur doing in vista tho, its not bad at all. SO much
    better than xp with SP1. MS 4 life
