Question for Vista Pros

    Hello All,

    Here's something i can't figure.

I have created an image of the entire hard drive long ago using Acronis
    True Image.
I'm messing around with Vista and trying things, and when i'm done, i
restore this image to get my virgin system back.

Today i forced Vista to BSOD.
The memory dump went 100, i rebooted the PC and as usual, restored the
    entire hard drive from image.

Only this time when i booted to my default Windows, i got a Bugcheck
message with complete details of previous BSOD.

I restored my image once again and got the same Bugcheck message.
I'm 100% sure that the image is perfect, i never had an issue with it,
after countless restores. The hardware is fine as well,

Yet somehow, Vista knows about that old BSOD!
Can anyone tell me where is this data stored?? How can i clear/reset
    it?
How do i get rid of this false Bugcheck message?

I mean, every time i restore my image it flushes 500+MB memory dump
file - where does it come from?

    Thank you in advance!

Always clean your HDD with a third party cleaner before doing a clean
install. Use something like Darik's boot & nuke. Otherwise lower layers are
left and can be "seen" by the new install.
