Printing, UAC, and Mappoint 2009

My PC runs Vista Home Premium x64. I have Mappoint 2009 installed on it.
Before the end of May I could print maps from Mappoint without any trouble.

Suddenly, about May 28 or so, anytime that I try File > Print in Mappoint,
or click the Print button, I get a message of "No printers are installed.
Would you like to add one now". This is about the same time that Vista SP2
installed, so it might be connected to that. When I hover over the Mappoint
print button, it does show the default printer in the pop-up.

All other applications printer without error. I've tried ...

    - Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Mappoint - Didn't help
    - Backing out SP2 - Didn't help
    - Uninstalling and reinstalling a printer - Didn't help

I have not tried going back to a restore point as I have, for good or ill,
    restore points turned off.

Finally I tried turning off UAC. Now it prints without error. If I turn UAC
back on, the error returns. I'd rather have UAC turned on, but I want to be
able to print more. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
