For a long time I have tried to move my favorites around. Even googled about it.
OK---Favorites are listed alphabetically ( just figured that out--bout time--ya think  )
So for a long time I dragged a favorite up to the top of list & dropped it there. After a bit it was rite back to where it was before---Ya just can't change alphabetical way of listing ( or can ya?)- :what: .
    Sooooo---my solution at present is to Rename a favorite---ie. News --now becomes> A--news--- Weather--now becomes> --B---weather & so on.
So far this has worked pretty good for me.
Any other ideas out there?---interested on it.
    :whew: -------------------gunnner:)

Internet Explorer, don't give you a lot of options, like Opera and FireFox,Gunnner.
    You use IE mostly.
All I do in IE,is name the main Folders in Upper Case, and sub folders in lower Case.
Then move the sub folders, into the main Folders, in alphabetical order.
    Works for me. :)
I can't see a benefit,in actually naming the Main Folders in Alphabetical order.

It depends on whether you have multiple of the same sort of company for example:-
I buy lots of PC Hardware so I have the likes of Microdirect, Aria, Scan etc all in a folder names suppliers
I then have lots of remote access webpages in a folder called RA

If like you say you only have news, and a few others then you are probably better off using the favourites BAR that was included with (IE8 I think it was) as they are listed alphabetically
