Hey guys, just a quick introduction.

Literally just joined CHF, because I was looking around different forums to gain a little reputation for myself.

I'm naturally savvy with computers and such,
so I decided here was a nice place to test out my knowledge
helping people out and even learning by asking questions.

If you see me posting around forums, feel free to mention me or pm me. This seems like a pretty chill community and
I greatly look forward to joining CHF.

    Thanks!

Hi Bucky, welcome to Computer Help Forums.

Everyone is welcome at CHF regardless of our level of expertise. We are all on a learning curve, just maybe at different places on that curve. I'll look forward to your contribution to the forum.

    Hi and Welcome to CHF

as PseFrank says we have all sorts of expertise levels, from professionals to self taught hobbyists, and were all learning all the time. feel free to post answers or ask questions, or even if you have a better way of doing something or disagree with an answer feel free to start a new thread to debate it, that way we all learn. where as starting an argument in a thread trying to help a member helps no one.

as you've noticed we don't treat the rules as sacred, except for spammers, which we shoot on sight, but torrent users and pirated copies of software for obvious reasons we can't help with, but educating the member and helping them obtain the legal stuff that works properly is a better option than closing the thread and banning them.

But above all were all here to enjoy ourselves and have fun, and if we help someone and earn some gratitude in the process or educate them then that's a bonus.
Right lecture over, serious hat off, :jump: LETS PARTY

Welcome to Computer Help Forums, bucky! Your input will always be welcome and your expertise appreciated. As for a reputation, that can be a two edged sword. [IMG]

Welcome from me too, however as BeeCeeBee hinted, reputation is a two edged sword indeed.
I doubt if any one here is looking to gain any sort of personal reputation, it is an empty sort of thing on its own.

We just hope we can maintain the forums good reputation. We all aim to give the best advice and to the best of our knowledge, along with a good sense of humour, in order to help our members with their computers.
