network connections problem

    hello, on the bottom right corner on my screen, whenever i hover over the internet icon it says not connected-connections not available. but i can still use the internet... can someone tell me what is wrong?

    Steam power
    Network Icon, can mean you have no lan connection meaning your local network is not connected, not internet.

    Is this an upgrade to 10? What does device manager show? Have you checked for all needed drivers that may be needed for your system?

    May be your adapter setting is being disable try to check or diagnose it.

    Time to tell us what your computer is...sounds like you are using a wired access to internet but your computer also has wireless adapter that is not being utilized
    and is what has no connections available.
