Yeah Windows 10 has OneDrive, which is cloud based -- which means it's an internet backup storage for you and they assign what looks like a physical drive to your PC etc. In plain talk it's an internet based backup drive that has software that makes it look like you have a real physical drive for backups and storage. It's pretty good if you need to save and use documents across several devices and PC's and access it anywhere at any time and transfer from one PC (or device) to another.

I read a little about One drive. I'm old fashion and I prefer my good old Macrium Reflect to back up my OS. I really don't have that many docs to worry with, but I can a see where it's a good deal for a lot of people.
    Thanks for your replies.
PS I hope we can get back to beings friends!:( It's good when members have some thing to talk about on CHF!

I have a lot of backups personally, and I do it for clients too, but I actually clean install regularly myself -- just for the hell of it sometimes. You can learn a lot by doing that on a regular basis.

I have done a clean install one time. It's good, but I'm lazy and I prefer my Macrium image. I'm wondering about this W10 repair install. You have to be able to boot windows ,but this sounds like a good feature!
You are supposed to be able to repair install W10 without losing any thing.
What are your thoughts on this tutorial by Shawn Brinks?
This tutorial will show you how to do a repair install of Windows 10 by performing an in-place upgrade without losing anything.

You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to do a repair install of Windows 10.

Well we are all different on our approaches to tech that is what makes us all unique. I have repaired W10 a few times and it seemed fine. I did this just a few days ago with a borked Linux (arch) install that messed up the boot partition.

I'm not really familiar with Linux. I do have a CD with UBUNTU 14.04.3 That I have booted with, but I'm really not that familiar with it. If old Dougie would show up, I'm sure he could add a lot to our replies.
It's late in Oklahoma friend. I really enjoyed this tonight. The best night sense I rejoined CHF.
It can get real boring here some times. Catch you next time friend!

Good night William! I was merely joking. This is a great forum. I'm really tired and my thoughts are not 100%
This is my last reply! Good night. Read my PM!

It's this easy to make anything default in W10 here I will show you in real time_

Search "default" like this_ (and as you can see you have two options the old control panel or the new settings panel)

Additionally if you do not like typing or searching, here is something I will show you here it's easy. Once you have done the previous step I mentioned do this. Drag that bad boy to your desktop like this so you can simply click on it anytime you want to change the default for any main app/program_
