So are you now saying it is best not to kill file anyone? I have just kill
filed Alias because you said he was troll.

Sorry for being stupid, but can you tell me how to unkill file him so I can
get all the messages back please.

No, I'm saying that if your purpose of kf'g was to quiet what you perceived
as noise in here, you have to k'f everyone that replies to Alias as well,
since none of the MS applications that do NNTP (Outhouse Express, WLM,
WindowsMail) have extremely limited capabilities to do what you want to do.

You will end up with more noise than before.

I had never said he was a troll. I never said he wasn't either. I just
tried to explain why kf'g Alias wouldn't do you any good as it could result
in an increase of perceived noise.

    It's best just to ignore.

Alias *used to* reply to many requests for help by advocating Linux,
instead of answering the question. On that basis, the other trolls that
use MS Windows decided he was also a troll.

Frank *used to* answer some questions, but now stalks Alias almost
exclusively. Others seems to have adopted a similar pattern of ignoring
the questions in order to dedicate their time to harass Alias.

Alias has increased his value by answering your question and should not
necessarily be killfiled. Frank's replies speak for themselves.

Now, to Manage your blocked list.

    # In the upper-right corner of any Windows Live Mail page, click Options.
    # In the left pane, click Mail and junk e-mail.
    # Click Allowed and blocked senders.
    # Click Blocked senders to see your blocked senders list or click
Allowed senders to see your allowed senders.

You can edit or delete blocked senders in there.

Yes, if you don't want that person emailing you from a fake email, then that

At least I tried to answer the question, by search engine.

What is the correct answer? How does the OP manage the news block list?

I find it interesting that the only people trying to give specific
answers to specific questions are a Linux advocate and a Tbird user.

No need. I have your posts filtered as read, so I only read them when I
want to. If you ever decide to abandon your mission of hatred and get
back to actually trying to help Vista users with their problems again,
I'll know it, because your replies will be to people other than Alias.

The *truth* is that your foul language and anger are even less desirable
than other people's opinions of Windows, Mac or Linux. The *truth* is
that there are several posters in these newsgroups that ignore the
questions and call each other trolls.

The *real* topic of this thread is not in the subject name. The *real*
topic of this thread is very simple.

How does the OP add/remove senders from the news block list?

    Well, I have answered it.
But in a way that uses News rules.

But, that method does seem to work.
    I had you kill-filled for a while.
Found out using Windows Mail to see you had posted after I added you.

An even easier way is to right click the message, go down the Junk email,
then add sender to blocked list.

With all due respect, you did forget the #1 question: "Is Alias a Troll?"
By answering the second question, one automatically answered the first one
in the affirmative, but it is not the only topic in the OP's post.
IMHO this could be some kind of a trap.
Hopefully we can learn to stick with the issues at hand, instead of getting
lost on dead-end roads. Your pointing this out is commendable,
except for mentioning the name A***s in it in a positive manner.

Why shouldn't Alias be a troll? After all, this ng is the major league
champion of trolldom--more trolls per square mile than any other ng that
I'm familiar with. Its usefulness has plummeted to almost zero.

  19. I am very confused now. I have been given three ways to do this and I am
afraid to try any of them in case one of them is completely wrong and upsets
    the balance of my messages.

It seems that some of you know who the main trolls are in here. Now if I
had a list of those and completely eradicated all of them, then the problem
would be solved would it not?

So please could I have a list?

Secondly, what does OP and IMHO mean please?

OP means "Original Post or Poster" and IMHO means "In My Humble Opinion"
