Internet stops in IE8 and Firefox but not others

    A strange problem in Vista.

    IE8 and Firefox lose the ability to access any web pages as if I have
    lost my internet connection. The strange thing is Outlook and other
    applications that go online still work fine.

    I have upgraded to SP2 but the problem is still there.

    If I reboot it works fine again until next time. This usually happens
    about twice a day.

    Any help appreciated
