    Hi,

I have Imate mobile which I am trying to connect to my laptop with a USB
cable in Windows Vista Home premium. It is not detecting. I have my destop
system which is having preinsalled windows vista business version and here it
is detecting automatically without installing the imate CD. Is that vista
home version is not supporting imate connectivity? I installed the Imate
installation CD also but still did not detect in vista home version. Please
    respond.

Plug the phone in and run Windows Update.

It may need to download Microsoft USB Sync and Window Mobile-base Device
    driver and software.

For the software and driver to install/update correctly you need to have the
    device plugged in.
