    Congrats.
Of course, you will have to find ALL NEW DRIVERS.

  6. I did too; one for my desktop and one for my laptop. The price is right and
for $5 extra I wanted the disks sent to me instead of download (don't have
    to worry about backups, etc.).

Vista has been a pretty good system when you consider it is written on a new
platform. Sure it has its faults; like some of my software not running (I'm
still bothered by that), the need for much more powerful equipment just to
run it, and the hardware problems. I would not move from XP to Vista if I
ran a business. Windows 7, from all that I have read, corrects these
    problems.

Another reason to consider Windows 7 is all new programs will be written to
windows 7 standards and not Vista's (remember ME?).

Best Buy had Winodws 7 ready to order, but you have to pay up front (when I
inquired BB that is what I was told - two different reps) whereas Microsoft
Store will not charge you for them until they are shipping or available for
    download.
