When I click on an email link like the one regarding replies I get the error posted below.
Any suggestions? I am having having passwords problems occasionally so I may need to reinstall my WLMail. When I click on the IE icon, it will take me to the comments but not the thread.

I don't understand what you mean, Vala.

It will take you to what comments but not the thread?

You should be clicking on the bar that says View This Thread.

None of my email links works anymore. After I posted this I check links posted in here and they work, so must be an email problem.

Below is what I usually click on and it always took me to the thread. Now the error message pops up. All the forums I have been has a url to take you to the thread. The "view this thread" comes up when I click on the E icon above the message. I wonder what stopped the url from working in the email. I am going to uninstall and reinstall WLM.

It sounds like there is a problem with your Windows Live Mail, Vala.

    I think so too.

There is a url in the body of the email that says "To view this thread, click here" followed by the url that takes you to the thread. I always used it but it doesn't work anymore. I think I will uninstall WLM and reinstall it. First I will look and see if there is a reset button.

What do you have set as your default browser Vala?

I am using Firefox, the email is Cox routed through windows live mail. I just went online to read the email there and it doesn't work but it has a different pop up. It is a redirect. I have scanned, but will do it again. Then I am going to uninstall WLM and reinstall it. I should have done that earlier.

When I closed out of everything and found Windows essentials it offered "repair". I chose that and will wait and see how it goes. Thanks for the help offered.

I was sure you were using Firefox as that is occasionally a FF problem. If I were you and it continues to annoy you make IE your default browser and the links will work.

I will try that. I am tired of messing with FF anyway.

There is an update for Firefox, it has gone up to version 39. The update may have cleared or reset something. Worth a try, just click on "Help" then select "About Firefox" it will tell you there what version you are running and if below 39 will advise you to update.

I have been using version 28 since it came out. If I go to ff for help they will update my 28 version.

    Do you use FF.

I think it is an email problem. I did download it again, but it kept my contacts, my emails and every thing so there must be something else I need to uninstall with I uninstalled it. something that keeps my choices. Itunes does that.

All of a sudden the link is working and with FF. I have no idea why.
