Hi guys, when I type ctr-shift-esc I get the task manager. What's the
method for getting the processes manager? I have an app that runs in
the background so doesn't show up on task manager and I can't get rid
    of it.

XP used to have a "processes" tab but I can't find an equivalent in
Vista Business. I'm logged in as admin.

    Thanks in advance for advice,
    Jo

The Task Manager in Vista also has a processes tab. You can also look at
services. You may not be able to see the tab or run services.msc if your
    computer is infected.

You can also use Autoruns and Process Monitor:

Thanks - I did find the processes tab by right-clicking.
    Cheers,
