    First, I was a Staff Member on the old (?) CHF (http://computerhelpforum.org/) which I cannot reach, so this may be a retrun visit on my part if this is the same organization :wave:

    I am a Computer System Specialist and IT Technician (since the late '90s), now retired. I joind this site and the old CHF to pass on my experience to help to others.

    Just for your information we have no association with that .org website and I am not at all sure that it continues to exist. I certainly can't reach it although it still pings.

    However, in my humble opinion we are one of, if not THE, friendliest and best forums of this kind and we welcome your contribution. :)

    Hi and welcome Tecknomage, I also cannot find that website with three different browsers, though Comodo Dragon did come back that there are too many redirects and cookies may be blocked. A most strange fail report, but it does look like it is offline now.

    I look forward to reading your posts, as has already been said, we try to avoid the typical draconian forum management system that a lot of forums seem to implement, if you don't make mistakes how are you going to learn, so feel free to jump in with help and advice where you can, if you do something wrong well send you a PM asking you to avoid making the same mistake twice.

    As you read through alot of the posts you will realise were all in need of a good therapist, so if you know of any it might be an Idea to try and get them to join :D
