Which one do you mean your computer or that old hashy laptop?

Download this and install it and run:

Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit

Then read the webpage that opens and post here on your thread how much memory/ram you have. What processor you have.Your mainboard and what size hard drive you have.

Or what make and model of computer do you have?

A little more memory would help.

Click on this and let it scan your computer on how much memorey you have installed and how much more you can add:

Memory upgrades from Crucial.com - About Crucial:Media Toolbox

    Tell me the results please.

Then we can see were we can go from there babe.

    Hi Adam

Nice to have you here, and I see that JB already has you in hand, the question is what do you mean by 'speed up your Machine'

there are a few tricks you can use to get the OS to run faster and smoother, also their is the OC'ing route but that is very dependant on hardware,

or taking things to the extreme there is the bin it and start new option
