Hello,from F____ Up Eugene,oregon,usa

Hi; I am an older person, going on 64,and I am really not a techie; before I got my pc, compaq presario, I had a Mac, and it did not go well with it. Great graphics,but t hat was all. Otherwise, expensive, hard to use,did not go anywhere,or get used with anything else; headaches,and expensive snobby computer. Only good for graphics. Too expens., dumped it, and got PC Windows XP home. 2.40 ghz (enlarged the 513 mb ram,got more memory) and CD-Rw DvD -Rom. Great little machine, I love it.

Reason i put down, "from f___ up Eugene, Oregon," is that it is. It was my hometown,but I spent many yeas in San Francisco, being a comic book cartoonist,and then teaching cooking, cause art cannot make you a living. Everyone had day jobs. Lived there many years, left to go to Concord, northern, Contra Costa County, lost my job(retired) and my feet got very very bad,and do you know , podiatrists stink? not the feet, the podiatrists!! You gotta be rich to get decent medical help for feet. I did not get it. I took care of my mom, too, for at least 10, or 8 years,int he meantime, mostly alone,and it was rough, got caregiver burnout.

Went back to Eugene, Oregon, my sister in Berkeley, CA, took my mom. I retired to the old place,in Eugene, Oregon, which has dying orchard ont he back,and no one took care of it. (we had a renter, big deal. ) So, I'm trying to live here, (ha ha, no one ever lives, in Eugene!!)fix the house, fix the place, trees,grounds,and we should sell off the back;

while we homeowners are fighting the city of Eugene, trying to wreck all our neighborhoods, by putting in expensive, EMX express bus, no one here wants; and we cannot vote on,and we have no first amendment rights, to protest against it; we get arrested, like this was Communist Russia. We are in a dictatorship here. REALLY!!! NO, the feds will not help us. :snckr: Yeah, we are royallly SCREWED. THey, the city,and county,and bus dept, will take our fronts ,land,imminent domain,tear up all the streets, businesses,and homes,and all our property,and miles and miles of trees,and literally destroy neighborhoods, cause they have a f___ up agenda. sigh.

I am a peace loving person,but if they take off the front of my place,and my house,and leave me with no place to live,which is entirely possible, they want a widened huge road in front of me, I'll probably sue, but mostly likely bomb them .Yes, I have no other place, to live,it's me or them,ha ha. What do I have to lose? they tear up my front yard, which is already right on the road, as are many of the homes,we all have no homes left!!so, why should we not use "civil disobedience?" the law is not helping us, we have a group, on facebook, against EMX, and all the laws,ect., all our protests, petitions,every single voter is against it; we have a real stupid socialist communist dictatorship, worthy of russia or China. whew. I hate it.

My hometown sucks big time. Our city of Eugene,and Lane county is a local dictatorship. They even dissallow the first amendment. We cannot speak, or have signs, against the EMX bus project.

There you have it; I do lots of stuff on the computer, I do artwork, on Oekaki sites,and I also write to my friend, in St. Joseph Michigan,and my cousin in north Virginia,other cousin in Washington state, Snoqualime (?) and my sister's partner, in Berkeley, CA. All of us email back and forth. It's great to communicate.

But my computer repairman says, "if you get a new computer, you have to put all your programs in to the discs they came in,or you cannot save them, period. (oops, sorry.) So, I need lots of advice; if I get a new computer, hey, I have lotsa programs I no longer have the original discs for, can I record them on something else, to take them? Is it possible?

(Yeah, Eugene, Oregon, is invaded by tons of people fleeing California, LA, San Jose, northern, southern CA,and New York City. ugh. I am one of the last of the natives. Even the synagouge here, is too reform for me,and I cannot handle it, too way Liberal. We have a socialist state govt.,which controls every single thing we do, so everything is banned, taxed,and forbidden. Except for drugs and pot. No plastic bags, no plastic bottles,but you can have as much pot and drugs,and crime,and killing kids,and murder, bank robbing, burglary, mayhem,and alcholholism while driving to work, as you want, ha ha. I am not joking. also, the state,and counties mostly the state, discourage all capitalism, business,and industry,and tax them all, and try to run them out. They did it,too. We have no jobs,business, industry, nothing . Not even lumber business anymore. Everyone is POOR. (except for wealthy people, from CA,and NYC, who come here to retire.)

The University of Oregon dominates all the town,and all the politics,and all the laws,and when all the rich students from out of state get drunk,and riot, our police have to clean it up. :down: the school system is so fouled up, they are firing all the teachers, cutting all the schools, closing them,and they cannot manage the money they have. VERY bad management. Yeah, I know, it sounds bad, but, guess what ? IT IS. Anyone who can sell their place, move to another town,or a state with jobs, does it. Lane County, especially, has very high property crime; arm yerself here. If you do not have your place nailed down,they will steal everything. Even in camp grounds. If you go camping, take yer guns with you. ha ha.

I think we sound like a pork barrel little town like Macon, Georgia, in the Deep South, corrupt, politically rotten,and one horse dictatorship. Well, I'll get my cotton gin out now!! We are exactly like that here. Only, we have hippies, GREEN policitcs, "sustainable", carbon footprint, "vegans", organic,and all politcally correct, lesbians, transexuals, and homosexuals. And you HAVE TO APPROVE OF IT ALL. OR ELSE. whew!!!

I try to stay out of it, trying to garden again, (with no sun, all rain, all summer,no heat,and no way to grow anything, in rain, cold, sunless weedy Oregon weather. )It's almost June,and our weather is the middle of Winter!! ha ha. DAMN. I also want to join a German class, learn to shoot a handgun again,and take a local jewelry class. I have tons of beads, cause my sister is in the San Francisco Gem and Mineral Society, and she taught me some jewelry stuff; I went and bought a tons of beads. Nice stuff, too. I can see, I wrote way too much. Juast ignore how pathetic my obsession with writing it all down, is I have to get my headphone fixed, so I can use dragon naturally speaking again. ouch.

I like to blog, I may do a very nasty blog, all about Eugene, Oregon,and the history of it,and how it is now,and all the dirty little secrets,and nasty politics. That would be fun. Nothing like "Return to Peyton Place", is there?? AHEM...I--UM---am kind of interacting with "pirates" online, now and then, of movies,tv,and all that stuff. Ok,ok, I'm a pirate. Lots of people are. I do not download illegal stuff. Nope. For example, there are now lots of old movies, entire, being dumped on youtube,you can just go on there,and watch them, in pieces. I try to only watch stuff that has no recent copyright. (it gets yanked off the web,anyhow.)

Well, there you have it; I'm thinking of contacting "Earth first!" the radical conservationists,and asking them for help, with our horrible EMX express bus project,that no one can stop, now, from wrecking our roads,homes,neighborhoods,and wrecking the normal bus lines. Nothing legal helps, that's for sure. After all,t hey are wrecking the environment, with this huge EMX express bus system,and we do not have the money to pay for it!!no one voted on it!! They will be killing miles and miles of trees, all along the neighborhood roads,and tearing them all out. People are trying to sue, but no one can sue and win, against city hall,it is all rigged so we lose,no mattter what. It's not a free country. NOT here.

this town IS exactly like a corrupt, dictator,one horse, pork barrel, nasty little dishonest city and county govt., like a little corrupt town in the very Deep South.If you have ever seen the movie, "Sweet Bird of Youth,"with Paul Newman, that's our town. Well, no one wants to buy any of the homes, land,so everyone is stuck with them,and cannot get out. The thing is, this town has ALWAYS been like that, it's just worse,and more obvious, publically now. But, you gotta manage to have a life where you are,and nothing is perfect, let alone human beings. MOSTLY human beings!! BEAVERS function better than us!! ha ha.
