Even at 76 I'm always looking to learn something new and am finding Windows 7 is a little different than XP.

Welcome to Computer Help Forums lilal!! :) Windows is different but also somewhat the same. Please feel free to ask about anything that you wish. We are here to help. As for being 76 and looking for new things to learn, I can only hope I will be doing the same.

Hi Lilal and Welcome to CHF,

It's wonderful that you are trying a new operating system after years
of knowing and probably loving XP. Windows 7 is a lot different but it's
also a much better operating system.

Welcome from a mere youngster here at 62, Windows 7 is a much better system and once you have found your way round it, then as I sometimes have to, start up the old XP, that reminds me how slow and how much more had to be done to actually do something in XP. I hope you will love Windows 7.

Hi, Hi, nice to meet you, of course, I'm not really 64,or 63, either, I'm a spring chicken 21, also, ha ha. :snckr: And I'm still a redhead, instead of a gilt-colored dark blond now. LOL. I'd hate to think we're nothing but our past hormones, but heck, we're all made out of nothing but chemicals. Guess there is not much left in this test tube!! It's nice to meet all of you,and find we're all groping our way into tech-dom,at our age,and not letting it get us down;except for the arthritus, hah.

(Just curious, how are all the places you live in, doing? Bad?rotten? OK? Broke? Very well? Living the Depression of '29, in 2011? Food here is very expensive, now. Forget Gas, we don;t know if we're all going to eat, for long. I wonder how everyone else, is doing, all over.)
