Hard drive

    I have samsung laptop np510r5e. the hard drive 600 Gb , 2 partition :
    C: 40 gb
    D:560 gb
    now C: drive I have 1.78 gb free. (window 10 in drive C:)
    My question is how to extension drive C: from drive D:. I need more volume from D transfer to C:.

    Adding to Dougie's post, if you don't want to delete the D partition, you can try disk paritioning software like EaseUS Partition Master available at http://www.partition-tool.com/ The free version should let you merge the partitions.

    You could also move folders from C to D. This can be done by right-clicking a folder, go to Properties and click on the Location tab. Click on the option to Move and then navigate to your D drive.

    Thanks Tony for bringing that point up.
    I missed that part where it said to delete the partition.
    If there is data on D partition you certainly wouldn't use the delete option unless you wanted to delete everything on D partition.
