Did you not read in the article that Vista is not vulnerable to the
attack? Could this be due to Vista has a lot of OpenBSD and UNIX
technology implemented in it, because MS brought UNIX from SCO for 38M a
few years back, took UNIX code a part code line by code line and
implemented it into Longhorn. Longhorn did become Vista, Windows 2K8 and
    now Windows 7.

Did you miss that Alias? It seems a good reason to stick with Vista.
Vista is not XP and neither is Windows 7.

Your ill informed opinion. Ubuntu rocks on my desktops. There is no
reason for Windows on *anything* if you want a safer Net.

A lot of people here use XP and if you think that Vista doesn't have
virus problems, you need to have your head examined. Conficker is still
infecting 11 million computers a year and they're all WINDOWS.

Vista didn't have this problem you reported. This is a Vista NG not XP.
Or are you this stupid with reporting bad information that doesn't apply.

You always have an excuse, always, huh?

No, he's just a troll, that's what trolls do. If he actually believes
the crap he types? Who knows, but I do know he just does it to annoy
people. I mean, why else would someone so ANTI-MS be IN a newsgroup for
    a MS OS?

I'm on a noble and sacred mission to make the Internet safer by helping
people kick the Windows addiction, of course!

Depends if you like wasting your day on Vista patches and slowness or not.

Funny, I bought a system with Vista on it, and both my wife and I agree it
    is crap.

So I keep the XP system going, and she is liking Linux on the new system
    more and more.

Is it funny that you and your wife mean nothing in the big picture?

If that floats your boat, you live with it, because it doesn't mean
anything, as to what you do in the long run. Now does it?
