    Hi Guys

Lately, my GM has gone daft, I recently changed my password, but when I log in and insert my address, all the password dots that appear, are for my old PW.

This means I c/o my GM icon, insert email address (used to always appear), then next, then taken to next page to insert PW.

Anyone have trouble with Google Mail, any answers or alternatives??

    Hi George,
It's been a while. How are you?

If you recently changed your password and it inputs the old one instead of the new one, you should get a popup message.
Are you seeing something like this?

    Hi Cindy

Hi yourself, yes, been a while, you know the way things take over, especially when you are over 21??

No, I see nothing like that, its just that, I had Gmail configured so I did d/c on GM icon, right into inbox. Now I have to insert address, it goes to another page, the usual password dots are in already, but not correct, then type in password. Just does not seem the same anymore.

When did you change sites, did you follow Rich M

I did not get an abundance of replies did I :(

No, I have been here at CHF since 2009.

I don't use Gmail so this is kind of out of my area.
Let me see if we can get someone over here with more knowledge.

I use Gmail...not an expert though. I think your gmail password is there when you try to log in because your browser is saving it, as in autofill. I use Chrome and it saves every password I use. When I changed my Gmail password I also had to correct the saved password in

You will have to import all your data and Addresses to outlook I would imagine. Haven't used Outlook, sorry.
In Firefox google search Gmail is at the top right of the page.
I am wondering if you have ever hard deleted you old mail entries and spam folder. You may have thousands of entries choking GMAIL.
Here is my GMAIL location. When I click on the ICON it either opens my Gmail or tells me to log in.

As Dougie stated, If you want to import your Gmail emails, folders and contacts, you can do so easily in Outlook.
I imported all of my folders, emails and contacts from Yahoo into Outlook when I switched to Hotmail as my main account.

Click the "GEAR" and select Options. On the new page, select Import Email. See screenshots below.

I think if you wish to change your actual user name, George, to gudda96, a staff member will need to do it for you.
Just let one of us know, if you do. It's not a problem, it only takes a second to fix.
