I want to ADD .pps to the file associated with PowerPointViewer2007. There
doesn't seem to be an 'add' option.
    How does one do this?

    Right-click on the .pps file

    Select Open With...

    Select Power Point

Follow tae Sung advice, but also check checkbox which says "always use this
program to open file sof this type" or something to that effect, you will
see after you right click on any PPS file and select Open With....

There appears to be a well-known problem with file associations under
Windows Vista spontaneously dissolving without warning. Floating around is a
fix to the problem, I think, but I can't put my finger on it, sorry. Perhaps
    another user can help?
