    That is way below the 600 I'am suppost to have. maybe I need to check with my provider?

    Further thought.
    Have you tried rebooting the Modem or Router?

    That can have an impact on download speed.

    Why I suggest that, is because your upload speed,
    is faster than your download speed.

    Hi Larry,

    As Others have already said, we have various members with varying degrees of knowledge, do not be put off with the fact that you dont know the technical terms ok.

    There could be a few issues that could be causing you problems, the first I would ask is have you installed any new software or browsers from the time your last watched a program that ran ok?
    do you know how to reset the router?
    are you connected to the router/modem via a wire that plugs into your PC or laptop or do you connect wirelessly?

    It would have probably been more useful if BeeCeeBee had pointed you to the tutorial on how to post the Speedtest.net Results Image like the one below

    But then he Probably didn't do that because I only just wrote it :p

    So thanks for pointing out to us that we needed a new tutorial, and if you would be so kind to give us some feed back on how easy you found it to follow, or any other generally helpful comments about improving it I would be most Gratefull, you can find it by following the link below
