I had forgotten this forum until I recently received an E-mail notification.
So here I am. I build my own computers. I'm currently enrolled in an A+
certification course. Perhaps I can make a go of building tailor made systems for people.

 

Welcome Back! I am sure you will be an asset!! By the way I left your avatar on my fridge when I returned from Ireland. How did you get it and please give it back! Now please!

Good luck sounds like a good Plan but my problem is people would rather just buy an off the shelf Dell or Acer, then ask me to fix it when it goes wrong :snckr:

Guess one of the biggest groups of people will soon be the 'baby boomers' ... and while lots of them (and nearly all the younger generations) are 'up on' computers, there's still a huge market geared to the 'baby boomers' (if you're young and reading this, just think 'old people' - gentle grin).

Imagine you had a shop doing just that - selling tailor made systems. And a bunch of baby boomers who really don't care about how a computer works, they simply want one that works and is perfect for them. And imagine this group of people who think that buying 'tailor made' will send the shop workers into gales of laughter, realizing the above.

Now imagine this same shop, advertising that they know finding and buying the perfect personalize computer can be difficult and confusing ...but their staff are more than happy to to work with each customer on a person to person basis to create 'the perfect personalized computer'- for no additional cost.

 

Falcon Northwest has demonstrated there is a ready market.
