ctrl key opens multiple folders

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by Nathan Buchanan, Sep 20, 2009.

  1. When holding my ctrl key briefly it opens two explorer windows for the
    location:
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

It is very annoying when I need to use the ctrl key in combinations
    (ctrl+c, +v, etc).

How can I disable this shortcut option?

What model/make keyboard do you use?

Did you install some software that came with it?

It doesn't sound like a Windows Vista function, so I think it might be some
    third-party software you are running.
